Let's Make The Internet More Human Again
Multicultural NSW – Remove Hate From The Debate
At We Are Social, I helped refresh a long-awaited project for Multicultural NSW: the Remove Hate From The Debate campaign website. After sitting on the agency’s books for years, we finally got the green light to bring it to life. Our idea drew on a familiar online ritual, verifying you’re human - and reimagined it as a reminder of what the internet once felt like: a more human, kinder place.
01
Relaunch video
We kicked things off with a relaunch film that celebrated the internet’s brighter side - reminding people of when it felt safe, human, and inspiring them to return to that spirit.
02
Website Refresh
We refreshed the look and feel, as well as the tone of voice for the website and campaign.

03
Verify You're Human
On visiting the site, users are met with a familiar verification pop-up - but with a twist. Instead of simply proving they’re not a robot, they’re asked to confirm their humanity and pledge to help make the internet a more human place again.

04
New Rules
Not a Dua Lipa remix, but a new set of rules for how to behave online.
The campaign set out to shift online behaviour through simple, human guidelines - refreshed both visually and tonally for today’s audience.
