2026 World Cup Campaign

Challenge

To encourage SBS on Demand app downloads and streams of the 2026 World Cup games.

I worked on this project whilst freelancing at Poem Group.

TVC 

Social Content

Alongside the hero TVC, we produced a suite of social-first content designed to expand the campaign. Rather than simply creating cutdowns, we developed two bespoke content series -The Hotline and Interruptions - featuring both our hero talent, Nick, and the supporting cast.

This approach allowed us to tell new stories that felt native to social while maintaining a consistent creative platform across the campaign.

Beyond the assets

As well as the paid and organic content, we also created an official LinkedIn page for the WRA and registered our 'jobs' within the WRA to build momentum and awareness.
